Hopae Playground

Welcome to the Hopae Playground — a public environment for testing EUDI issuance and verification flows.

This playground is built to test and maintain interoperability for the current standards versions and Large Scale Pilot projects. We use it ourselves for EU LSP (WE BUILD), France Identité integration, and various interop events.

Overview

It is intended for:

  • Interoperability testing
  • Protocol validation
  • Wallet & verifier integration checks
  • Demonstrations and troubleshooting

Supported Protocols and Standards

The playground implements the following standards:

  • OpenID for Verifiable Credential Issuance (OpenID4VCI) 1.0
  • OpenID for Verifiable Presentations (OpenID4VP) 1.0
  • High Assurance Interoperability Profile (HAIP)
  • ISO/IEC 18013-5/7 (mDoc/mDL)
  • SD-JWT Verifiable Credentials
  • W3C Digital Credentials API

Getting Started

In the Issue and Verify tabs you can find multiple templates to test issuance and verification. Choose a template and hit the button to test the flow via QR code or the W3C Digital Credentials API.
