Paradym Playground

The Paradym Playground lets you test EUDI Wallet credential issuance and verification without setting up your own issuer or verifier. It provides preconfigured flows that work with compatible wallets, including France Identité.

Try it

Open the Playground and choose a flow:

  1. Issuance — select a credential type, then scan the QR code with your wallet or open the link on the same device. Review and accept the offer to add the test credential to your wallet.
  2. Verification — select the credential you want to present, then scan the QR code or open the link. Review the requested data in your wallet and consent to share it. The Playground displays the result.

To complete a verification flow, your wallet must already contain a matching credential. With the France Identité Wallet you can use the flows to verify the PID and Proof of Age. As the mDL is not supported yet in the French wallet, this flow will not work.

Supported flows

  • Issuance: PID (SD-JWT VC or mDoc), mobile driving licence (mDL), and proof of age
  • Verification: PID, mDL, and proof of age
  • Protocols: OpenID for Verifiable Credential Issuance (OpenID4VCI) 1.0 and OpenID for Verifiable Presentations (OpenID4VP) 1.0
  • Credential formats: SD-JWT VC and mDoc (ISO/IEC 18013-5)
  • Interaction modes: cross-device using a QR code and same-device using a wallet link

Wallet developers can find the Playground's issuer and verifier certificates under Trust Info. Add the issuer certificate to your wallet's trust store if it is required to accept credentials issued by the Playground.
