APR-350 EUDIW Unfold - Playground main page¶

Welcome to the Authologic Playground, a public environment designed for testing cross-border European Digital Identity (EUDI) verification flows. This playground showcases Authologic's eID-native identity infrastructure, seamlessly orchestrating next-generation digital identity wallets to verify users securely and instantly.
Overview¶
The Authologic Playground is engineered for:
- Interoperability Testing: Validating diverse European Digital Identity (EUDI) Wallet implementations against real-world scenarios.
- Protocol Validation: Testing secure, remote identity verification handshakes over the web.
- Frictionless eIDAS 2.0 Compliance: Demonstrating streamlined data-exchange flows that eliminate the user friction and security liabilities of legacy methods like OCR and manual data entry.
Supported Protocols and Standards¶
Authologic's protocol-first architecture ensures plug-and-play cross-border interoperability by natively supporting the latest international standards:
- W3C Digital Credentials API (DC API)
- W3C Verifiable Credentials (VC)
- OpenID for Verifiable Presentations (OpenID4VP) & OpenID for Verifiable Credential Issuance (OpenID4VCI)
- ISO/IEC 18013-5 and ISO 18013-7 (Annex B and Annex C) for mDoc credentials
- SD-JWT Verifiable Credentials (Selective Disclosure)
๐ก Protocol Handoff Note: Both playground demos utilize the browser-native Digital Credentials API (DC API) by default. If your current browser or wallet stack does not support the DC API, or if you choose to decline the browser-native wallet prompt, the interface will seamlessly fall back to an OpenID4VP presentation layer (displaying a secure QR code for cross-device handoffs or a deep link for same-device execution).
Available Playground Demos¶
1. Authologic Bank¶
Identity Proofing, KYC and Strong Customer Authentication (SCA) featuring a Bank Identity Card (Bank Key).
- Open Account: Experience remote KYC by opening a bank account using a Mobile Driving Licence (mDL) credential. (Requires a wallet with an mDL attestation; you can issue one using our standalone issuer below).
- Issue Identity Card: Generate a secure Bank Identity Card attestation in your wallet to use for future authentications. (Requires a wallet supporting TS12 attestation: (eu.europa.ec.eudi.sca.login.1).
- Issue Payment Card: Generate a cryptographically bound Bank Payment Card attestation to authorize transactions. (Requires a wallet supporting TS12 attestation: eu.europa.ec.eudi.sca.payment_card.1).
- Sign In: Securely log into your newly created bank account utilizing the Bank Identity Card issued in the previous step.
2. Vinoteca Store¶
Privacy-Preserving Age Verification using Zero-Knowledge Proofs (ZKP) paired with Strong Customer Authentication (SCA).
- Complete Order: Pay for an order using the Payment Card stored in your digital wallet while simultaneously proving you are over 18 via an mDL check-all in a single, combined transaction flow. (Requires a wallet containing an mDL and a payment card attestation e.g. issued in the Authologic Bank demo).
Getting Started¶
- Navigate to the Authologic Playground homepage and select either Authologic Bank or Vinoteca Store.
- Follow the on-screen UI prompts to complete the desired testing scenario.
Testing Standalone Components¶
Beyond the guided demos, we provide a standalone Issuer and Verifier to test custom identity wallet implementations independently.
To Test the Issuance Flow (OpenID4VCI):¶
- Navigate to the standalone Issuer tool and select your target Credential type.
- Fill out the credential attributes manually, or click "Demo data" to auto-populate the form with mock identity details.
- Open your mobile EUDI Wallet app, select "Scan QR Code", and point your camera at the generated code on your screen.
- Follow the native prompts inside your wallet app to securely save your new credential attestation.
To Test the Verification Flow (OpenID4VP / DC API):¶
- Navigate to the standalone Verifier tool. The layout defaults to a standard Personal Identification Document (PID) request.
- Optional: Click "Change credential or protocol" to customize the exact data presentation scope you wish to test and click "Done".
- Click "Start verification". Open your EUDI Wallet app, select "Scan QR Code", and scan the generated on-screen code.
- Review the requested attributes and follow the wallet prompts to securely authorize the data release and complete the check.
