Identfy Personal Wallet: Access using PID Credential¶
Identfy offers an end-to-end digital identity solution that enables organizations to issue, manage and verify digital credentials in a trusted and user-centric way. Its ecosystem includes a Personal Wallet for citizens, a Business Wallet for companies, and a Wallet Connector to support credential issuance and integration with existing business processes.
In this demo, the user receives a PID — Personal Identification Data credential in their Identfy Personal Wallet, presents it to a demo banking portal, logs in securely, and requests an IBAN credential issued by the bank. The result is a simple end-to-end journey that shows how digital identity credentials can reduce friction in onboarding, authentication and financial service access.

Bank onboarding demo¶
An interactive tutorial walks the tester through the full flow:
- PID credential issuance — a simulated public administration issues the citizen's Personal Identification Data (PID) credential to their wallet.
- PID verification (verifier) — the citizen presents that PID to NovaBank, who verifies it via OpenID4VP.
- SCA credential issuance (issuer) — once the PID is verified, NovaBank issues a Strong Customer Authentication (SCA) verifiable credential, tied to the new account sign-up.
- Bank login via SCA (verifier) — the citizen logs back in to NovaBank by presenting the SCA credential (no password) — NovaBank verifies it via OpenID4VP for wallet-based authentication.
- IBAN credential issuance (issuer) — once authenticated, NovaBank issues a verifiable IBAN credential for the new account, which the citizen saves to their wallet.
NovaBank plays both roles in the same flow: it verifies government- and self-issued credentials (PID, SCA) before trusting a citizen, and issues its own (SCA, IBAN) back to the wallet — the pattern a real relying party in the banking sector would follow.
